What to do

Detailed description

This is a ring itinerary of great natural and historic interest since it begins in the village of Serra San Quirico, a beautiful fortification built to monitor the Gola della Rossa, right at the border between Vallesina and Le Marche’s ridge.

During the ascent to the summit of Mount Murano, you will be able to see the characteristic galleon shape of this village, which, thanks to its city walls, towers and bell towers look just like a sailing ship!

The landscape at the summit of Mount Murano offers a 360° view of Monte Titano in San Marino and Monte Conero. You will also have the possibility to see the Vallesina and the castles of Jesi (famous for the Verdicchio vineyards) as if you were looking at a map!

In addition, if you want, you can also visit the village of Serra San Quirico, walk along its Copertelle, the covered patrol walkways of its city walls, and visit the interesting museum of the Park.
